Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Axiom Reserve, LLC, operating as Axiom Diamond ("Axiom Diamond," "we," "us") collects when you visit axiomdiamond.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version

  • We collect what we need to sell and deliver your diamond, support you and run the site.
  • Analytics and advertising are separate choices. If you have not saved a choice, both are off. Advertising pixels load only when you enable advertising, and Global Privacy Control turns advertising off.
  • We don't store full card numbers. Stripe processes payments.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing support@axiomdiamond.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
  • Order details: the diamonds you buy or ask about, delivery instructions, and your order and return history.
  • Communications: messages you send us and our replies.
  • Identity verification: for some high-value orders, we may ask you to confirm your identity or billing details to prevent fraud.

Information from payment and shipping partners

  • Payment confirmation: Stripe tells us whether a payment went through, plus limited details like card type and the last four digits. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Delivery status: carriers share tracking and delivery confirmation, including signature records.

Information collected automatically

  • Site-activity data: when analytics is enabled, we record page views, product and cart activity, clicks, time spent, referring site and campaign details under a session identifier. Our first-party activity records do not store your IP address.
  • Advertising data: when advertising is enabled, the approved pixels may receive your IP address, browser and device details, page and event information, and limited order values. TikTok Automatic Advanced Matching may detect email or phone values on pages where its pixel loads and send them in hashed form. Meta may receive hashed identifiers if its matching feature is configured.

How we use your information

  • To process, verify, ship and insure your order.
  • To handle returns, refunds and delivery claims.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site and our customers secure.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it, when you enable analytics.
  • To show you ads for Axiom Diamond on other sites and apps, and measure their results, when you enable advertising.
  • To send order updates and, if you've agreed, occasional emails about new diamonds or guides.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails if you've signed up for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by emailing us. Even if you unsubscribe, we'll still send messages about your orders and returns.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run the business:

  • Service providers that work on our behalf, including Stripe for payment processing, account and website infrastructure, email delivery, and shipping carriers. They can use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Address verification: when you verify a checkout address, we send the street address, unit, city, state, ZIP code and country to Google Maps Platform to check postal delivery information and suggest corrections. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or payment details in that verification request. Google's processing is governed by its Privacy Policy.
  • Our diamond manufacturers, limited to what's needed to fulfill your order. We don't share your address or payment details with them.
  • Insurers and carriers, when needed to resolve a lost or damaged shipment.
  • Advertising partners such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads and TikTok, through pixels and similar tools on our site. See the next two sections for details and how to opt out.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect our customers, our business or others from fraud or harm.
  • Business transfers, if Axiom Diamond is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Any buyer would be bound by this policy for the information we transfer.

Selling and sharing

We don't sell your personal information for money. When you enable advertising, approved pixels from Meta, Google Ads and TikTok can receive your IP address, device and browser details, pages you view, product or cart events, and limited order values to measure campaigns and show you Axiom Diamond ads. TikTok Automatic Advanced Matching may detect email or phone values on pages where its pixel loads and send them in hashed form. Meta may receive hashed identifiers if its matching feature is configured.

Some state privacy laws treat this kind of advertising as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even when no money changes hands. You have the right to opt out. You can do that by:

  • clicking Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of any page and turning off advertising; or
  • turning on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we treat as an opt-out request for that browser.

Opting out stops us from sharing your information with advertising partners for targeted ads. You may still see ads from us, but they won't be based on your activity on our site.

Cookies, pixels and advertising

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies for four purposes:

  • Essential: making the site work, including keeping items in your cart and securing checkout.
  • Preferences: remembering your settings.
  • Analytics: measuring how the site is used so we can improve it, only when you enable analytics.
  • Advertising: letting approved Meta, Google Ads and TikTok pixels measure campaigns and show you relevant Axiom Diamond ads, only when you enable advertising.

You can manage analytics and advertising cookies and pixels at any time through Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of any page. That page also explains cookies and site storage. Your choice is saved in your browser, so if you clear your cookies or switch devices, you'll need to set it again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of advertising sharing.

Our advertising partners also have their own controls:

  • Meta: facebook.com/adpreferences
  • Google: adssettings.google.com
  • TikTok: the ads settings in your TikTok app

How long we keep information

We retain order and transaction records, including customer contact information associated with those records, indefinitely, without automatic deletion. Closing an account does not automatically delete these seller records. We review access, correction and deletion requests as applicable law requires. Support messages not associated with an order may be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Internal site-activity session and event records are retained for the configured reporting period, currently 90 days, and then deleted; reports may present aggregate summaries.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access limits on customer data. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects your data as required by law.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that's wrong;
  • delete your information;
  • get a copy of your information in a portable format; and
  • opt out of marketing emails, and of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising.

To make a request, email support@axiomdiamond.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We'll verify your identity by confirming details from your order before acting on it, and we'll respond within the time the law requires, usually 30 to 45 days. You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Order and transaction records and customer contact information associated with them are retained indefinitely as seller records, subject to any rights or requirements that apply under law.

Children

The site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Where information is stored

We're based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll let you know by email before it takes effect.
