1. Who can buy
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. We ship only to addresses in the United States. Orders are for personal use, not resale.
2. What we sell
Axiom Diamond sells loose laboratory-grown diamonds. Every diamond we sell is grown in a laboratory, not mined, and is identified as laboratory-grown on its listing and its grading report.
We sell the diamond only. Settings, bands, mounting, sizing and engraving are not included and are provided by a jeweler of your choosing.
3. Grading reports
Every diamond comes with an independent grading report from the International Gemological Institute (IGI). The report records IGI's findings on that specific stone, including its measurements, grades and growth method. The details on a report depend on the report type and the stone, so the report that comes with your diamond is the record for that diamond.
A grading report is not an appraisal, an insurance valuation or a guarantee of future value. We guarantee that the diamond you receive is the stone described on its IGI report.
4. Photos, videos and descriptions
Photos and videos are provided by our diamond manufacturers and are intended to show each stone as accurately as possible. How a diamond looks can vary with lighting, magnification, your screen and viewing distance. Minor differences in appearance don't mean the diamond doesn't match its report.
5. Prices, estimates and errors
Prices are in US dollars. Prices, availability and specifications can change until we accept your order.
Our pricing calculator, mounting estimates and retail comparisons are tools to help you plan. They are not offers, appraisals or guarantees of what a jeweler or another seller will charge. Your jeweler sets their own setting fees.
When we compare our prices to traditional retail, including statements that our diamonds cost about half the price of traditional retail, the comparison is to what traditional brick-and-mortar jewelry stores typically charge for a comparable lab-grown diamond: the same shape, similar carat weight, the same color and clarity range, Excellent cut, polish and symmetry, and an IGI report. Retail comparison figures are estimates based on the pricing models used by those stores, not quotes from any specific store. Actual savings vary by diamond and by the store it's compared to.
If a listing has a clear error in price, description or availability, we may correct it and will contact you before fulfilling the order. You can then confirm the corrected order or cancel. Any refund will be issued to your original payment method, less any credit-card processing fees that cannot be recovered.
6. Orders and payment
You can place orders through the online checkout. The payment methods available to you and the total due, including applicable sales tax, are shown before purchase. Stripe processes payments on our behalf.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order when we email confirmation that it's been approved for fulfillment. We may decline or cancel an order before shipment because of availability, a payment or verification problem, suspected fraud, a listing error or legal restrictions. Any refund will be issued to your original payment method, less any credit-card processing fees that cannot be recovered.
You authorize us and Stripe to charge the total shown at checkout, including applicable sales tax. For high-value orders, we may ask you to verify your identity or billing details before shipping.
7. Shipping, title and risk of loss
Shipping is free and fully insured on every order, and every delivery requires a signature. Delivery dates are estimates unless we guarantee a date in writing.
Title to the diamond and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers it and a signature is obtained. Until then, the shipment is insured and we bear the risk. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, follow the steps in our Refund & Return Policy.
Please inspect your diamond promptly after delivery. You can do this through the sealed acrylic case without affecting your return eligibility.
8. Returns and refunds
You can return any diamond for any reason within 15 calendar days of delivery, as long as it remains in its original unopened, sealed acrylic case and is returned with its original IGI grading report (certificate). The diamond, case and report must be in original condition. Full details are in our Refund & Return Policy, and the version in effect when you placed your order applies to your purchase.
9. Your jeweler
Any jeweler you use to inspect, set, size or otherwise work on your diamond is independent from Axiom Diamond. We aren't responsible for their work, charges, timelines, or any damage or loss while the diamond is in their care. Opening, mounting or setting the diamond ends return eligibility.
10. Using the site
You can use the site for lawful personal shopping. You agree not to:
- interfere with the site's operation or security, or try to access it without authorization;
- scrape, copy or harvest site content or data by automated means;
- use the site's content to misrepresent Axiom Diamond or its products; or
- place orders using someone else's payment information without permission.
11. Intellectual property
The Axiom Diamond name and logo, the site design, and the text, photos, videos, guides and other content on the site belong to Axiom Diamond or are used with permission. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.
12. Third-party links
The site may link to other websites, such as IGI's report verification service. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Checkout address verification uses Google Maps Platform and is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Address verification can suggest corrections but does not guarantee delivery or verify the recipient's identity.
13. Disclaimers
Except for the guarantee in Section 3 and any rights you have under law that can't be waived, the site and its content are provided "as is." We don't guarantee the site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Educational content on the site is general information, not professional appraisal, insurance or financial advice.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Axiom Diamond's total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that diamond. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or the cost of a setting or jeweler services. Some states don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
15. Indemnity
If you misuse the site or break these terms, and a claim is brought against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, including legal fees.
16. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
If you have a problem, please email support@axiomdiamond.com first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly that way. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either of us may bring a claim in the state or federal courts located in or serving Bossier Parish, Louisiana, or in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. The terms in effect when we accept your order apply to that purchase.
18. Other terms
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce any part isn't a waiver. These terms, together with the Refund & Return Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site and your purchase.
